Position Summary:

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical design, machine development, and product lifecycle management. This role will focus on supporting new product development, continuous improvement, and customized machinery design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies in line with product requirements
  • Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CATIA ,Creo (preferably CATIA V5)
  • Apply GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability and tolerance control
  • Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs and part lists
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs
  • Participate in design reviews, prototyping, testing, and validation activities
  • Implement DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles in design workflows
  • Support project management activities and meet deadlines for deliverables
  • Utilize PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter) for efficient data and revision control

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical or industrial product design
  • Proficient in CAD tools: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA V5 (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, SPM (Special Purpose Machines), and automation systems
  • Familiarity with sheet metal, plastic components, and electromechanical systems
  • Knowledge of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with PLM systems and design documentation standards

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to industrial automation, testing machines, or semiconductor equipment design
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with attention to detail and time management
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Passion for innovation and sustainable product design
